Golf du Soleil was opened in 2000 and was designed by Fernando Muella and Gérard Courbin.

There are 36 holes, made up of the 18 hole 'Blue' course, which encircles the Tikida Golf Palace Hotel, and 2 9 hole courses 'Red' and 'Yellow'. With lakes, waterfalls and avenues of trees such as tamarind, mimosa, eucalyptus and bougainvillea, the courses are very picturesque and although not long courses, they are quite demanding as tight in some places, requiring accuracy rather than length.
